At Fort Collins Physical Therapy and Sports Center, we provide diagnosis and treatment for these types of wrist and hand injuries:

  • Tendonitis – Inflammation of the tendon that can cause aches, pain, stiffness, and/or swelling and burning around the joint
  • Tenosynovitis – Inflammation of the sheath that surrounds a tendon and causes pain, swelling, and difficulty moving the inflamed joint
  • DeQuervain’s Syndrome – Pain, tenderness, and swelling on the thumb side of the wrist and difficulty gripping with the thumb
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – Compression of the median nerve in the wrist that causes pain and numbness in the thumb and index and middle fingers
  • Fractures – Broken bones
